OUR PURPOSE: to see lives transformed through a relationship with Jesus Christ and grow to maturity through the application of biblical truth.  

OUR VISION: to see people equipped to fulfil the purposes of God.

OUR BEGINNINGS: were a group of women who spent a weekend together in 1957 because they wanted to know more about the Bible.  The following year the number had more than doubled.  Weekend conventions began in Sydney, soon spreading to other cities and towns. Functions were held  all over Australia. Speakers were invited to share the gospel message; others gave deeper Bible teaching.  As the organisation became known in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, similar conventions began.

The board of CWCI International meets twice a year and is responsible for all work outside countries where national leadership is established. Its primary ministry is the writing of KYB studies in English, and the translating of those studies for use worldwide.
